Nah, but I am thinking about taking a bag of ice. :D

Well, it went lean at about 5,000 rpms and we had to shut it down early. It did make 482 rwhp @ 5,000 though.

Yes, he does. He told me that when he turned it up, it actually seemed like it may have gotten a little leaner.

TheJeanyus

Yeah the BAP didn't help at all. It did go a touch leaner at the end on the pull with the BAP turned up higher.

You shouldn't have went lean with the bap. Have you checked the big fuse under the hood to see if it might have blown?

TheJeanyus
08-12-2007, 03:34 PM
No, I didn't think to check that.

It shouldn't be blown but doesn't sound the like bap is working for some reason.

Well, the tune is right now. Perfect 11.8 - 12.0 A/F all across. But with the terrible heat (95* inside the dyno, so IAT2's were high = computer pulls timing) the numbers are sort of disappointing. It made 470 rwhp and the torque was somewhere around 450. Blake told me that if I came back in the fall when it cools off, he'll let me make a pull so we can see how much of a difference the cold air makes. He showed me several other graphs where other '03 Cobras have lost anywhere from 30 - 50 horsepower due to high ambient temperatures.
