View Full Version : What do you think about these wheels?

These are similar to what I had on my BMW. I love staggered mesh wheels and I think these would be pimp on my car. I would be going with the 18 inch size but I have also thought about stepping into controversial waters and doing 20x9, 20x10 just to blend some exotic looks with performance. I would probably keep my DD bullits if I went with 20's just so I could have an extra set to swap out...But I haven't seen much positive response to 20's on sn95 on the internet so far...Mainly on the '05+.

Sweet wheels :nice:

But I would stay away from 20's on 94-04 Stangs. 20's on 05-up cars look great, but too much for the older cars ,18s are the max for them IMHO

I agree with Eric. Definately wouldn't go bigger than 18's.

I love those wheels by the way. I was actually looking at several in that style. I just couldn't afford them at the time....or really any time for that matter. Everything I was looking at was well over $500 a wheel and that's just a little much for me.

It will be between the more affordable Axis Penta(shown) or the awesome CCW Classic. Right now I think since I wouldn't need tires I may steer towards the CCW wheels. Man those wheels are so damn sexy. However, if I do decide to do the 20's it would be pretty extreme but I am curious to see how some 20 inch mesh wheels would look in those big wheel wells.

How much do those Penta's cost??

Yea those wheels look great and speak all business, but just as they said the sn-95's w/ 20's look awful, give it the "it's got a lift kit" stance, is un-symetrical, and anti-compatible looking.

The '05's and Chargers now though fit and wear them well.

On Ebay I am seeing the 20's going 350-400 each, unfortunately they don't make them in an 18, only 19 and 20:( Oh well, more reason to save up for the CCW's!

Are those 20's front AND back?? From the side profile shot it almost looks like they're staggered. With 20's in the back and smaller in the front.

Looks pretty good to me but after I saw the Sonic blue Cobra on CCW website I'm sold on them!!! That car has got to be one of the top 5 most beautiful Mustangs I have ever seen...

Thanks, if I stick with those for a while I'm getting the center painted black.

That yellow Cobra looks good. I've seen those pics before. I don't like 20s on most cars, but those wheels look good. Remember, though, that you're not going to be able to hook AT ALL with the D1 and 20" wheels. No sidewall = no traction.

I'm sticking with 18's, maybe later on down the road when I'm "ballin' out of control", I could afford a 2nd set just to swap out on the street!
