I am thinking of changing my exhaust setup very soon and have been checking out some different catbacks. I am just wonder what x pipes or h pipes have you heard sound best with these catbacks?
-SLP Loudmouth--
-Borla catback--
-Bassani catback--

MAC ProChamber. I get nothing but compliments on the way my car sounds with the Borla Stinger catback and ProChamber. :metal:

What do you have now with the flowmasters? I think nothing sounds better on a gt than an off road h pipe and 2 chamber flows. Just stay away from the slp catback

+1 for Pro-Chamber. If you like the chambered muffler sound, MAC Flowpaths sound sick.
Please, please do not get SLP Loudmouths. The only thing worse than putting those on a car is putting glasspacks.

The Borlas don't sound like a Mustang but I like that.

I thought about it and for now I think I am going to go with the Borla and some HID's...Yeah yeah I know, but I have been wanting some HID's since lik 2000 so while I can I am going to go ahead and get them! I will get an xpipe whenever I sell this brand new sub and my flowmaster cat back...

HIDplanet.com is where I got all the stuff for my S2000 projector retro into my Impala. They have a forum in case you have any questions. Good call on the Borla.

Unless they've made some sort of kit breakthrough, anytime you retrofit a Mustang to use "true" HID lights you lose your high-beams. This was a deal-breaker for me as I like to "light up the tree's!"

Your current X pipe should sound good with the Borlas for now, if you're talking about Pro-XS's. Off road X pipes + Borla Stingers (XR-1 mufflers) + mod motor = :puke:. VERY raw and nasty sounding - almost like straight pipes.

If the car is inspected by the state will it pass with these upgrades?

We're in Alabama, you don't even have to have all four wheels. :jester:

Some states inspect things like that, so I was wondering.

Even in those states, there are ways around things. ;)
