Strange happenings

Ever since I got the '94 from Lee...I have had a check engine lite on.........

He told me about it and that the car was not running hot,which has been correct.

Yesterday.....I cleaned the engine compartment....... cleaned and reoiled the K&N.........Now I have no check engine lite on anymore.......


Go figure..........Who would have ever thought just a simple cleaning would do that...........

That's pretty wild since the CEL was coming on before the C&L and K&N went on the car :shrug:

Did you ever get any 02 sensors for it?

Oh yes.I changed them out quite a few months ago........................Guess I am just living a good life and things are falling into place for a change.

Those mass air sensors were notourious about turning the check engine light on with a K&N filter. Check history codes and see if one bank was rich or lean. if so clean the sensor hot wire with carb cleaner and all will be fine for several mounths then youll have to do it again.
