Around 240/300

But stick a cam in and it's go more like 280-290.

I agree.

Only if you replace the stock headers too.

I might trade my bike for it. I'm wanting something I can cheaply mod, b/c the 4v isn't a cheap way to go. So you think a E303 cam and nitrous be the way to go? What max hp can them motors hold?

Add a cam, headers, notrous, and some sticky tires and you should be hitting mid-11's. :burnout:

You should be safe up to 500rwhp.

I have a notchback pending trade for this weekend. How much hp/tq would this setup make? The guy is unsure which exact heads and cam it has in it.

347 stroker
elelbrock aluminum heads
edelbrock rpm intake
MSD 6AL
MSD coil
MSD wires
65mm TB
adjustable fuel pressure reg. w/ guage
electric fan
Griffin Aluminum Radiator
cold air kit
Ford Motorsports Unequal Headers
BBK X-Pipe (no cats)
Magnaflow Mufflers
7 qt. oil pan
tremec 5 speed
pro 5.0 shifter
373 gears
weld draglites
new tires front and rear
new 75 amp alternator
new starter
new dark blue metallic paint
new idle air control motor
new throttle position sensor

He said it only has a slight power steering fluid leak and small oil leak. He said he tighted the oil pan and it slowed it down, so hopefully its a gasket? What do you guys think?

Could be around 330/350. Maybe as high as 360/380. Intake is a restriction on that thing...also, no info on the cam is a big negative.

It's a nice looking car. Fan brackets look a little cheap. Also, note the R134 conversion fitting. A/C work?

At least he's consistent... look at the battery hold-down.

He said the a/c blows cool air. But not cold. I would imagine it would be best just to remove the a/c all together. Since this won't be a DD. And stick the battery in the trunk.

Just keep it on, there's no good reason to remove it. I went to look at a car not too long ago (drove 3hrs) and had cash in hand to buy it, very clean car but someone had taken the a/c off so I passed on it.

It's a nice car. If it drives well, doesn't smoke, brakes, etc...work nicely, I think it's worth the trade.

evrything looks to good, go check the torque boxes at the rear and were the subframe connectors get weld at, there if the floor looks too wrinkle or welded its been wrecked. Check under the battery and see if the frame is rusted, thats a sign its a rust bucket, check the doors, and the floor pan were the seat is bolted, if it looks repaired, its been wrecked. Check everything.

The gear has been changed to 3.73s and he said they didn't put the speedo gear in there. So how much it cost to have that fixed?

Very good info. Look at the frame rails as he said under the battery, but look at them all the way back too. On both sides. If you see any crinkling or folded sections, then it's been hit in the front pretty good.;)

This notchback is so much fun to drive. I just like listening to it idle. Its not perfect but damn its a fun ride and lots of power.

Yea, went picked it up yesterday. Drove it back home for 6 hours and didn't have any problems. It feels like it has a lot more power than my Mach does.

Yeah, the pushrod motors feel a lot different than the mod-motor cars. The presence of more low-end torque makes it feel more powerful under normal driving conditions.

torque is the $hit, lol
