That's good power for a stock 130k mile automatic tranny. :nice:

I'm not a big fan of spray on those plastic intakes. :bomb:

Just make sure you have a good window switch and thats not a big issue.

I've got a MSD digital window switch if you want. I'd let it go cheap since it's just taking up space.

If professional products would ever get their stuff strait we would have a full metal intake, but I'm sure the quality will be marginal like some of their other products. They seem to skip the finishing(slag removal, cleanup) portion of the casting process.

Maybe later, she is still my daily driver w 130k on the clock, I don't have the funds for a rebuild anytime soon....:chip:

There is a full metal option (Bullitt) - it's just expensive. :(

Yep, and the gains have been debated. If I'm paying bullitt price I better feel a kick in the pants performance gain.
:chug:

The Professional Products intake was suposed to be priced in the 300-400 range. It is also 2 piece for easy porting.

nice numbers Todd.

So what does that equate to? Around 40 rwhp gain?

Yep 40rwhp gain. Not too shabby for an Auto.

good numbers. I know just a PI intake alone on my car made a world of differenec. from 3K rpms up to redline it pulled quite a bit harder.

Gears will also make a world of difference as well and you'll strangely get better gas mileage also.

BTW, I've got a near unused 4R70W transmission if you're interested. You'd need to find a way to modify the wiring harness for the tranny to work with it. The guys over at modular depot say it can be done but I never got around to it.

If you want it, I'd be willing to part with it for a few hundred bucks. I think new, they go for over a grand from ford. Even if you don't use it as a swap, I'm sure if you got your current transmission overhauled you could use the parts from this one since it's essentially the same thing.

Sweet, I've actually been thinking about the swap. What year stang is it from?:chug:

I believe a 99 or 2000. I know it was after 98 becuase the 96~98 4R70W's are a direct swap but in 99 ford changed the plug's a little and you'd either have to splice on a new connector that would fit into the trans or get a 99+ auto tranny harness. I talked to dave about it and a few other guys at modular depot. There are several guys who have done it in thunderbirds actually.
