View Full Version : 12 Tooth Crank Trigger wheel for AEM

Well time for some more testing with the AEM unit.
Hope to be able to give this a try sometime this fall.
It is a 12 tooth crank trigger wheel setup like Mike at
toohighpsi.com used to sell. Finally found a guy in MN
that had a few that he had made so I bought two just
in case that I destroy one etc. etc.
Going to have to mill about 1/8" off of mounting ring of
dampner for it to work.

I have a 1,36 wheel that I am going to use on my next engine. On yours how does it know where tdc is? All the teeth look the same on you wheel.

I would guess by the degrees I see engraved on the shiny thing :D

It references the cam sensor for tdc. It only uses the trigger wheel for
the pulse. By the way from what I have found so far the 30-1400 box should
be able to run an SVO 4 cylinder....:D
