Ok this is the deal.Car running like a dog skipping and junk.Done a compression test and
1 120 5 120
2 120 6 120
3 90 7 120
4 90 8 120

So i thought head gasket. And the number 1 plug is oily looking. So pulled it a part and no blowed head gasket. So could the head warped?I checked all the valves and they look good and still have cross hatch in cyl's.

And when checking the valves the #1 intake bowl was clean like no build up at all.Could the oily plug be coming from leaky intake gasket?

Could be from an intake gasket. I would have thought leaking head gasket as well based off of your compression readings.

It had a set of black head gaskets?Should i put it all back with felpros and see what happens?

I would take the heads to a machine shop and have them checked, or atleast put a straight edge to them to be sure they are not warped and turn them over and pour some paint thinner into the combustion chambers and check the valve seats.. It would really suck to put it back together and find out you have a warped head and its all got to come back apart.

Also, do you have a low compression setup?

That is awful low compression test results on all cylinders

its a stock 90 gt

its still about 30psi low. Should be testing around 150

:agree:

My short block has over 300,000 miles on it and still comes up with 135-150 in a compression check.

Did you try squirting oil in cylinders 3 and 4 and then running a check again? If the rings are at fault, then oil in the cylinder should bring the compression up with the others.

no i did not try oil. When the 2 cyls came up 90 right beside each other i thought head gasket and pulled it apart.

will a e cam lower compression?

will a e cam lower compression?
Nope. That's what I'm running and my compression is typically around 140psi.

Did you hold the throttle wide open?
