I have a 93 GT 5.0. I recently purchased a 65mm TB for it. When comparing the new TB to the stock everything is exact except. The stock TB has a small metal tube coming out of the top. A rubber hose contects to this tube and runs down to the the oil fill tube on top of the valve cover. I believe this is to recycle gases or something. The new TB does not have this item installed in it. It has the place that seems to be formed for it, but it is not drilled. What is this and is it fixable? Did I buy the wrong part again? HELP!

Don't worry about it. Just don't run the line to your filler neck on the valve cover

Can you tell me what it is and if it will have any effects? Thanks

It's part of the emissions equipment (PCV). It just takes any excess gases from the crankcase and draws them into the intake.
