well i got in my car today and drove it around afew diffrent places stopping here and there nothing big (i dont hotrod my car) and when i was leaving a parking lot the rachets in the clutch adjusted my clutch and it started letting out really close to the bottom like no play ing it at all well 2nd gear came along and it wants to grind into gear well i got it to readjust down again but still the same problem i just got done at christmas putting in a brand new clutch cable and its never grinded before and i dont want to, nor do i have anymoney to rebuild, or the expirence in redoing a tranny im hoping i can have it adjusted buti know somthing about the self adjusting clutches tearup all the time something about a bent plastic piece? in the rachets but i need help bad any body got any ideas

You should call UPS or Maximum motorsports (prefered) and order a new cable and quadrant.

I'll get you a price on Steeda's quadrant kit too.

well i just puit in a new cable at christmas and how hard is it to replace the quadrant and the only thing is im only ginding into 2nd only the transmission guy a c&h(works on the race cars my father inlaw builds) so i know hes not trying to skrew me over becous sammy is crazy and would shoot him if he did. but any way he said he thinks it need new sycronizers(spelling?) but its going be 250 bucks for the everything is that bad?

Is that the installed price? In had 220 just in the rebuild kit.

but does it sound like a quadrant or the tranymission syncronizers?

If its going into all the other gears without grinding I'd say the syncronizers. Everytime I had a OEM quadrant go bad it wounldn't even pull the cable enough to put it in any gear.
