For a Ford, you will likely need the 5718 (that's the one I used in my coupe). I think there was a different sending unit used in the newer vehicles, but I can't remember the cut-off year.

. . . or you could get the 5710 -- it's a full-sweep electrical fuel gauge that is programmable for any vehicle. It cost a little more, but it looks nicer and would match the other full-sweep gauges that you may have. When I bought all of my gauges, it wasn' available yet; I believe it is now out, but I haven't tried to order one yet.
