found a performer rpm intake for $300 plus shipping

still have a deal in the works for a Typhoon for $270 shipped.

i know the typhoon is an imitation of the rpm, for my cheap build would it be worth the extra money to go with the real rpm? He may come back with a crazy shipping number too so it may be a $100 dollar difference

I would. I have seen a lot of the typhoon castings where the finish was not very good

:agree:

I would readily pay $100 more for a better intake.

I havent owned a typhoon, but the performer that I had appeared to be a much better casting than the typhoons I have seen.

The Performer and typhoon intakes have never impressed me with their numbers. You really have to maximize a custom cam to get one to work.

Get a Cobra. Looks good and it's a rock-solid design.
