Car Update

Thought I would let you guys know whats going on with my ride.


Swapped the 331 for a 360 inch 302 based motor with a little solid roller cam.have it on the stand and completley finished now and just pulled the complete c4 setup out and traded it for a pro shifted tko setup.


I am going to repaint the engine bay before i put the car back together and clean the engine compartment up a good bit.after that it is hopefully getting a full repaint.

I figured i would pick this one up.it is right at 11:1 compression and i put a custom ground cam in it...im hoping it will run good and i can have fun in it.I liked the c4 and it worked flawlessly but the 5 speed is just more fun on the street.

Soon...picked up all of the tremec parts tonight.....going to try and prep the engine bay for paint tomorrow night and hope to spray it by friday.as soon as it dries ill set it all in.


I do need someone who can powder coat an intake....I want my upper and lower done in silver.

Update:Swapped several pieces around for other pieces and finally got it all put together.got it up and running and broke the clutch in.

Here are a few pics.I didnt paint the engine bay because im still not sure on the actual color im going to paint the whole car so when i paint it i will bag the engine and take on the task of spraying it.


it's a reman'd ford crate motor with some old aluminum heads...hope it runs well

I'm pretty sure a 4-point won't cut it... you'll need at least a 6-point to be legal.

Also, you'll need a 5-point harness to go with it.

Here are some updated pics of the cage.Im going to mount the other seat and the MSD box today.I have my template made for my rear seat delete and im going to try to build that tomorrow and get it and the trunk area covered in new black carpet too.

I know I still need to vacuum it all out and clean the rest of the interior:D

Oh and there may be one more small mod before FFW...I hope:D:D

Another update.


New Wilwood Brakes Installed.

Converted to Manual Brakes.

All Stainless Steel Brake Lines and Braided Hoses.

Bought New wheels(Greg Weld-Dragstars)

Removed old bad fitting Bassani Longtubes and x pipe and Mac catback and Bought new 1 3/4" BBK longtubes and BBK X pipe and put on new 40 series flowmasters and turndowns until my 3" tailpipes show up.
