I was looking at the wireing in my car trying to see if I could find any wires that were fraid. Well I found a little box under the dash that is crushed.I dont know what it is so I thought I would post some pics of it to see if ya might know. It is located above the fuse box under the dash on the driver side.I has on it(molded into it) not to drop if that helps. Thanks Steven

Looks like it may be the box that controls the cruise control.

 says "do not drop" and looks like it was dropped and kicked.

Chase a couple of the wires. Might lead to dash lighting, or one of the gauges? Does something not work? That might be the culprit.

naw everything works as far as the lights and gauges. I dont have cruise :jester: or air but I thought about unplugging it to see what stopped working.

If you can read the part number look up the middle part of the number and it should tell you what part it is. Just type it into google.

the car is a 89 but I dont know what the harness came out of or it could be the original harness. I dont know if the guy I got the car from changed out this harness to because the car came with red inter. now it has black.

The one in my '88 coupe has the part number E7ZF-17C476-AA. According to this link (http://www.ropermotor.com/1988/Ford/Mustang/Electronic%20Module.html), it is the wiper delay module.

There's no hope in cleaning my carpet... it has almost 20 years of dirt embedded in it.

I plan on replacing it when I put the cage in. :p

I just bought an 87 GT. The interior is grey, but I realy can't decide what color the carpet is. It has so many variations in it. Brown, black, red, grey are some of the colors seen in the carpet. LOL New carpet will be one of the first things I buy for it. Man, It is nasty looking. LOL
