Engine Block Numbers
 
heres the numbers on my block does anyone know what model my motor is
year/make/model thanks this will solve my problem cuz i know it isnt a mustang motor now, cause i have the absolute wrong flywheel which is causeing me my problems

the flywheel i got now on there is 89 mustang gt

I think where i had SF29 i think it's 8F29

as long as the flywheel/ bellhousing/ starter match up in year model you should be good now.

yeah but obviously is doesnt line up thats why i gotta find out what year model this engine is so i can get the right flywheel

I can see an E in the pics which indicates the '80's so if the
stuff you have is late 80's 50oz balance then you have the
right stuff

i got an 89 flywheel but i dunno bout the 50oz everything is brand new and everything is lined up and the starter still grinds

Have you turned the flywheel and looked for bad teeth on the ring gear? Does the bell housing appear to have any damage or cracks anywhere?

EDIT... When you installed the flywheel did you tighten the piss out of the bolts
