Are you going to run the SN intake/TB, or a Fox intake/TB? The tranny functions are a moot point since it's a 5 speed, but the differences in the intakes and sensors is where you'll hit some snags. There's also the CCRM and wiring, and the differences in the timing cover and water pump length, but that can be remedied with an electric fan. You'll also have to modify a Fox harness grommet to go through the firewall, because on the SN's, the harness comes into the engine bay from behind the passenger side fender. I know some of this is no big deal, just throwing the info out that I know. I did a V8 swap on a '95 V6 a few years ago, and this is just what I'm remembering off the top of my head. I'll post up if I remember anything else.

As Eric said above, the CCRM in the 95 would be my concern.
I can't remember exactly what it stands for but as I recall it is Central Command Relay Module. It controls the voltage to the fuel pump, electric fan and I think the ignition module, may be some other items too. |
Craig, it stands for constant control relay module, and like you said, it controls fuel, fan, ignition, and some other important functions. I also wanted to add that Clyde will have to do either MIL eliminators, or turn off the rear O2's with a tuner. And to do that, he'll have to run the OBD test port leg of the harness into the car somewhere.

Sound like a pita.thx for the info.

On the O2's...the rear were not present until 1996. '94 and '95 were stil ODB I and did not have them. |
