Former Birmingham Police cruiser (unit 749)

It has 102K on the odometer. Car seems to be in decent mechanical shape, but I'm going to be in preventive and restorative maintenance for a while.

First "mod" ... new wiper blades.

Second "mod" ... restored the headlights with a little elbow grease.

You buy it at an auction?

Local dealer bought it at auction. I did a little research and found out what it sold for. I made out pretty good on it.

PLEASE let me know if you ever want to sell the rims....I would love to put them on my 79 Fairmont!!!!

Will do, but I don't foresee that happening any time soon.

First things first, I'm working on getting the maintenance records from the Birmingham PD. After I've made sure service is up to date and address any potential issues I find along the way we'll have a solid base to work with.

Priority 1 ... New tires.

To each their own, but for my tire size, I know I can buy a tire a third of the cost with better tread wear than a Michelin the same size. Guess which one I bought? Reference... Tirerack.com
