loud beeps from the dash
 

so im driving down the road and I hear beeping ...5 loud beeps then a pause then 5more and so on and so on i turned off the car started it back up and still the beeping havent noticed any other problems while driving I sat and tried to find where it was coming from its in the dash around the center just above the air cond controls ive had the car 5+ years and never heard this beep anyone know what it is

Did you take one of the warning indicator lamps out of the dash or is one blown?

Didnt take anything out dont know if anything is blown....all my light light up in the dash everything is working ...heater , air kinda , defroster haha just got it fixed , speedo , tack , etc. no blown fuses im scratching my head at this point

There is an alarm in the dash that goes off when one of the indicator lamps goes out but if all yours are working I'm not sure what it is.

im gonna check my indicator again just to be sure ....it really ticks me off trying to play a CD and I hear beep beep beep under the music

It's the airbag "brain" (behind the radio). The "airbag" lamp has been taken out or "blown." 5 sets of 5 beeps...then stops. :nice:

Ive never heard of that.
