Nasty exhaust tips

Ok, so the only thing that I've found that will get my exhaust tips clean is an SOS pad. But I'm tired of getting steel wool in my finger tips. Any ideas?

Try out Eagle One or Billy Boat wadding polish. That stuff works wonders! Then I would wax the tips after.

I shine mine with Zaino Brothers polish. It is the same stuff I use on my wheels. Makes them very shiny.

I don't think its the cats.

I have cats and depending how much I flog it, I can get some soot on the tips as well.

His tune may be a little rich. Mine is 10:1 at 5000rpm. Mine is definitely worse during the winter(colder temps) though I think.
