What rpm do you want your power band in? What gears do you have in the rear? Is this an auto car or a stick? What intake?

looking for 2500 to 6500 3.27 gears and c4trans with 2600 convertor dont know if i will carb or inject yet

3.27 gears? Are you planning to have a poweradder? Any good cam that revs to 6500 will be an absolute dog with 3.27's
I would also be concerned that I would burn up the c4 with that kind of stall and 3.27's

I'd go with at least a 3.73 gear.

The cam will at least need to be 230ยบ duration (maybe more) to honestly pull to 6500.

will probally go to 3.73s

Your engine and heads are perfect for what you want. For an EFI intake, I would go Holley systemax or a breadbox upper/GT40 lower. For carb'd intake, I would run a Vic Jr. (or equivalent) with no port work other than match to heads. For a cam, I would get a custom grind piece. I recommend Ed Curtis for that, but he's behind right now after getting over 20-inches of snow... I'm waiting for a cam/lifters from him for a Caddy CTS-V.

Some of the shelf cams would work as well from Comp; you'd just have to check their catalog. If you have access to a Ford Racing X-303 cam, that would probably work too...and they're usually cheap.

Swammi I have a already put together 8.8 with 3.73 gears in it I would make you a deal on. Its 4 lug with c-clip eliminators and southside lowers on it.

Also look at the cams that Anderson Ford offers. I think something of the N-61 nature or a little larger would work well.

I concur...AFM has some really well-tested grinds that work very well (and sound awesome too).

Whatever the case, you need to check Piston-to-Valve clearance with everything mocked up before running. :nice:
