Electric Fan Install

I got an electric fan off of a 94-95 GT (which I did not know existed). What would be the easiest way to install?

Go by autozone and get a fan temp switch kit. Put the temp probe in the hose ,Wire it to the power switch on the fender and your done.

I have mine on the fins of the radiator and it does a fine job. I also have the fan off a Dodge durango that moves hugh air.

I'll recommend a more expensive, but better route.

www.dccontrol.com, model #FK35.

It's a fan controller with soft touch start, overheat protection, only runs the fan as hard as it needs to keep the car cool.

You may as well plan on upgrading your alternator as well. Is this going on a fox body?

it is going in a fox powered car :jester:

You were not kidding about it costing more

EDIT: where can I buy a plug for the fan?

No need for a plug, use female connectors, one on the positive and one on the negative...

If you must get a plug... go to Car Quest and pick up a pig tail from them or your local Ford Parts Dealer can get the pig tail as well for maybe $25.

anyone have a P/N on the fan temp switch kit?
also what kind of female connectors can I use instead of buying a plug?

You can use something like this, http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k3...alen/87272.jpg

You can get ones with insulation, or use your own shrink tube.
