Haha, yeah it was kind of strange driving out yesterday morning. I had myself convinced it was slower because it was so quiet. Now the shifter is the loudest thing in the car during normal driving.

You can take the mufflers off to make it fast again :jester:

Well, fast is relative.

My car is fast to me. Your car would probably feel like ludicrous speed.

Pretty soon you'll be going plaid. :D

Thanks man. I'm sure we'll meet up some time in the future. I was surprised there weren't more Fox cars out there. I think I only saw 2 other ones all day.

Thrashed on the car yesterday and today. Going out to Hux Dyno this Saturday with group of guys from work so I should have some pics and videos coming after that.

Fluidyne was leaking so I replaced it with a Northern from Summit. Unfortunately they don't carry a manual-only anymore so I had to shell out the extra bucks for one with an AT cooler. Might come in handy for P/S if I ever need it.

While I had the coolant drained I also pulled the lower intake and replaced the lifters since I had a noisy one. Also checked pushrod length and found with an adjustable checker that I needed to go from the 6.25"s to 6.5" to get the smallest pattern. I'll be ordering pushrods tomorrow and hopefully button it up Tuesday.

I also made up a switch panel to go in the ashtray area. The heater switch is wired to the red LED so that when the heater is on the LED is lit. When the heater cycles off, the LED will go out. It's a cheap way of knowing the bottle is up to pressure.

Looks like at least 8 of us:

- Steve's '87 Fox GT w/ procharged 331
- '67 Camaro w/ EFI 350
- '68 Coronet w/ 440
- '67 Tempest w/ 455
- '09 SRT8 Challenger
- '66 Nova w/ 383
- '93 Fox GT w/ built 306
- '04 GTO w/ Magnacharger

Quite a variety...all the old cars except the Pontiac are just completed and looking to make sure A/F is safe and get some numbers. We're planning on showing up down there around 10 AM and staying until Eric runs us off.
