Plastic Welding

Just thought I would tell everyone about this awesome plastic welding stuff you can buy at Advance, Auto Zone, O'Reillys, ect.

Mike Donley told me about it and I bought some......Let me just say that this stuff is awesome :metal:

I have modified / repaired so many items with it already, like my headlight housings, intake tube, interior plastic pieces, and even repaired the Grill on my Lincoln.

Get some....you will find a use for it. ;)

It dries in like 15 minutes and can be drilled, sanded, painted, ect. in an hour.

Its about $3.99 each

Here is a pic of the package.

yeah that stuff is awesome. I used it to fix the ring that goes around my headunit. Also remember to get the 15 min. one and not the 15 sec. one. :chug:

More :jester:

I cut open the top of my Lincoln headlight to remove the shields inside, then used the plastic weld to repair the cut.

Hmmm, do you think this would work on a urethane bumper?

Yes...I already used it to fill in some licence plate holes on the Lincolns front bumper cover ;)

Hmmm, maybe I should buy some stock in this stuff... I have a feeling that David's going to need at least a case a week.
