My son Jordan's "new" car
 
Picked this up the other day with no motor/trans for $500.....got alot of crap laying around that we can use to get it road worthy though....and it's got a black interior too!!!

conditions of this were/are, (1) Grades must be kept up (A's and B's), (2) He helps with all/most of the work/buying of parts, (3) Any inkling of "hokey extra-curricular" activities and the car is SOLD and I will keep all the proceeds! Hopefully this will give him some motivation to move towards a tangible goal and be able to pursue other goals/activities.

All in all, it's a pretty solid car with alot of potential and a good starting point for him.

aside from actually appreciating what they've got, it gives them a sense of "ownership" knowing they put some sweat equity into it...that and he might actually learn something that he can then teach his kids (LATER on down the road!!! lol) and save his family some $$$$ not having to pay someone else to do stuff to his own cars

looks like a solid foundation to start with.

Also wanna trade a clean stock hood for that cowl one?
