2v to 4v head swap on 2000gt

Wat would it take to convert my 2000 gt 2v into a 4v motor?

i kno i have to change intake and computer but wat else would have to be changed?

You would be a lot better off buying a 4V engine and selling your 2V engine than to try to piece everything together to convert your's to a 4V. You would need timing cover, chains, tensioners, valve covers, heads, intake, throttle body, etc... Everyone I've ever known of that has done the swap just swapped the whole motor.

What year motor would be best?

99+ 4V for the returnless GT's. With a SCT chip, I believe that you can even use your ECU.

Yeah, but the B heads aren't very good heads. If you're going to go through the trouble of swapping, swap in the better motor. I vote for a '03/4 Mach 1 motor if you can find one. :yup:

Well I wouldn't say they aren't good heads. You can make good power with them N/A or boosted.
