F150 A/C smells like a swamp donkey

My truck only has 21000 miles on it, but the A/C smells funky. Any idea how to get rid of the smell?

Not sure about that. Does it sit for a while between running it? Check the passenger carpet under the floormat for dampness. Seems there was a design flaw for the A/C drain on the firewall and it can end up back in the floor of the cabin there.

x2. But if it's coming from the vents, it's probably mildew. They make some deodorizer stuff you spray into the vents to kill the smell.

Nope, it gets used every day. I've been daily driving the truck since I sold the Camry 8-9 months ago.

I'll try getting something to spray into the vents. Hopefully that'll work. It doesn't always do it, but when it does it's pretty nasty.

U and matt done picked up the wrong girls and they put there pantys in the vent?

You can get a cleaner/netrualizer from the auto parts store. There is a hose under the dash you disconnect and spray into.

check the drain hose and make sure its not clogged!

Wall did something to his maxima a few years ago that he made a post about.

Put the a/c at max and spray Lysol into the air inlet that opens up when on recirculate
