tail pipes

I just went from turn downs to stock lx tips on my car,it s alot quieter and feels alot different driving it around kinda like the e-brake is on until you stomp it,lol..how much you think the tips hurt me.....any info be great...

I wouldn't think much at all, maybe 2 or 3 hp. Dumps make a car alot louder inside the cabin

The drum sound, Check your brakes and make sure there is not a problem.

Yeah, my coupe is MUCH more enjoyable with the tails back on it. Granted, dumps with a nice cam lope sounds mean as hell, but having to scream a conversation at highway speeds isn't fun.

0.5 hp at a guess.

X 2 it seems that with 1 chamber flowmasters on my car it was kinda like the speed of light compared to full mac exhaust but same HP and ETs...lol loud is faster anyday

yeah I hear ya , I just got tired of the exhaust smell all the time. It gets old smelling like gas all the time,lol...It has more of a scream now when you get on it...Im gonna put electric cut outs on it now. Im thinking two sets one set before the mufflers and one after,lol...That way when I want the noise or the power it can happen with a button....

Merged your threads together.

I agree with what has been said here - the actual difference in power is negligable. It feels slower because it's quieter. :yup:

The other thing I hated about having dumps, is that as soon as you fire it up after washing it, it blows dust all over it.
