Need help fast please

Ok i need help with this all anwsers and pics would help. I need tires and was wondering is 275x50x15 is to big for my car. I have a 15x8 wheel with 5.5" backspacing. And also i have eibach drag launch springs on the car which makes it sit lower in the rear. Please i need help quick with this as i've already ordered the tire and if they dont fit i need to send them back thank you.

Those should fit fine, its around a 26" tires. If it was a 60 tire I would be worried

It will be fine. Just go ahead and roll your fenders and they will fit just fine without scrubbing

You should be fine. I have the same size tires (ET Street drag radials) on a set of 8" Welds for my coupe. I have Racecraft springs and I think it sits as low (if not lower) than your car. I never had a scrubbing problem.

I can't find any pics of those tires on my car, but here are the same wheeels with some 26x11.50 tires (ET Street slicks).

my car is lowered in the rear and i have 28/11.50 et streets that fit fine and the fenders dont have to be rolled for them but i have a set of bfg 275/50s that rubbed on inside and outter fenders so i had to get the sledge hammer out plus run 1/4 wheel spacers (which i would not recomend if racing) and i had weld rodlites 8in with 5.5 bs hope this helps

Bfg is just a big tire all around isnt it? The tires i have are nitto 555 drag radials 275x50's. Do u think there is a difference between these and bfg?

blue90lx 03-07-2012 08:49 PM

What i mean is even though they are the same size "275x50" the nitto isnt as wide as the bfg. Seems like i had a friend that had a set of bfg's and never ran them, but he ran a set of mickey thompson drag radials that was 275x50 and all he had to do was roll his lip a little and his backspacing was like 4.5 or 5 i think. I'm going to mount them i guess if i have the same problem u did i'll make them work like u did. thats all i can do i guess. lol

i had a buddy who had m/t drag radial 275/50s and they were half an inch wider than mine
