Had my 1st plug stuck in head.
This tool turned a nightmare into a 5 minute fix. Absolutely a must have tool if you change plugs in a 3v.Tool is for 5.4 triton But will work on 4.6. Instructions read to run porcelain pusher untill it bottoms out.I did not because it felt as if it had reached the end of plug. I did not want to chance pushing porcelain into cylinder. And sure enough once I retreived plug the porcelain was at bottom. I am assuming 5.4 plug may have longer tip than 4.6 but not sure. Tool done the job and thats what counts. Part #65600 |
Yes this tool makes a WORLD of difference. I used it on my king ranch awhile back broke 3 out of 8 plugs and this little tool got em right out. Not sure which plug you got to go back in yours but i went with the new design that has a slightly smaller shank and is suppose to keep the carbon from building up.

After a little investigating on the porcelain pusher
With the plastic washer on the bottom. A 1/8 thick washer under the top head would give correct depth as not to push porcelain too deep. |
