Shifter vs Console Question
Just wonder if someone makes a automatic shifter for c4 that will fit in a 95 Cobra without having to butcher up the factory console. My interior is in ment condition and would like to keep it that way but still have good performance. Thanks in Advance

I used a stock AOD shifter on my rev. manual C4. You might be able to use your stocker by disassembling it and modifying the detents.
There's not much room in the SN95 console/dash area. |
Thanks for all the info !!!! Lots of help

FYI - If your in the B-Ham area, I was at pull-a-part a two weeks ago and there was an automatic SN-95 (I think a 1994) IIRC it still had the console and shifter, you could probably get it real cheap and proto-type off of that instead of butchering yours. I believe it was gray.

Get a quarter stick and make a plate to sit the shifter down inside the stock shifter hole.
put your leather boot over the shifter and it looks factory. ive done it once or twice. |
Thanks Craig K, But B ham is about a three hour drive from here in N.E. Corner Of Mississippi
