do you think this 2000 Mustang GT would bring? It has 130k miles on body but everything else has less than 20k miles and trans has less than 100. No wrecks. Also any guesses a/b what it would get for mpg?

Based off asilver2001gt's car, I would say about 15-16 highway.

Don't know about what its worth

yellowSVT 07-01-2008 07:33 PM

depends on if someone is looking for that set up or not and 15-18

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking to get out from my Tahoe because it isn't practical as my d.d. Guy has offered to trade me straight for it. Only reason I want to get rid of the hoe is b/c I get around 12mpg city 16 highway on 87 octane(mustang is tuned for 93). I am asking $19k(but take less) for the Tahoe it has 76k miles and no problems whatsoever. I'd love to get into back into something fast but I need it to be a reliable to drive daily also. I don't really think this car would be practical for what I need, even though it seems like it was built right.

Here is what I'd be trading.

Yeah gas is still going to suck. I've followed the build up on the car of the guy who used to own it. Everything was done right for sure. Should be very reliable

Getting rid of the tahoe because of gas mileage and getting a heavily modified mustang seems to be counter-productive to me. It might be getting a couple more miles per gallon but your also paying more for 93 octane compared to 87 on the tahoe.

EZMachN 07-08-2008 03:21 PM

Yeah, I use gas as an excuse to get rid of the tahoe. I really want to get back into something fast. I just want the trade to be around even as in price wise. I'll eventually be looking for a cheap d.d. even if I keep the tahoe or get the mustang.
