4.6 blowing out spark plugs
 

Have a friend that has an 1999 GT w/4.6 that has blown out one spark on the right rear and now has blown a spark plug on the right side any one had this happen?

Pretty common problem on the 4.6/5.4 modulars. They make some nice inserts for when they blow out. Only thing you can really do is keep a check on them from loosening

You can probably get one from your local parts store

O'Reilly has everything you need. Make sure you don't overtighten your plugs when you put them in.

And use a dab of anti-seize.

Psssh, I never use anti seize

You should have. The Cobra is already seized to the garage floor. :jester:

Didnt blow spark plugs though :)
