Don't know about the intercooler tank but on a 5.0 car when the car is running before it starts blowing coolant out if it has air bubbles in the overflow tank like that it either has a blown head...

If you have the car running before it starts...

If you have the car running before it starts blowing the water out does it have air bubbles in the overflow tank Like someone is blowing in a straw?
