393 is a common stroker and one of the first. It's is a stroker crank with a stock 351 rod and, of all things, a stock 302 piston. Basically you can do them on a budget...using stock 5.0L pistons...

That's generally true :yup:, but assymetrical lobe(s) can give you a different outlook on it. And that becomes a pricey...
