You need to know what the fuel pressure is doing under load, Not just sitting. Tape a guage to the windshield, Drive it with a scanner that shows fuel pressure. But somehow find out what fuel...

Fuel Pressure? Running with 1/8 tank of gas is not the best world for the pump, I have saw pumps with low milage go bad due to being overheated from low fuel levels.
