Is there a way to check the movement of the IMRC's manually? Can you move them by hand? I don't know too much about the 4.6 yet.

Not yet. I have some electronics cleaner but it is for cleaning volume knobs and rotary switches, so it has lubricants in it. I have to get some non-residue type.

My '94 Lincoln with the DOHC 4.6 will hardly run first thing in the morning. It idles rough and when I put it in gear it bucks and sputters and you have to really mash on the gas to get it to move. ...
