Re: Is there a suspension that could serve double duty?

Now see, I had heard the same stuff. Dropping it changing the geometry and adversely affecting handling. Of course, every time I mentioned it, the shop says - oh no, it will be alright. But I know I...

Re: Is there a suspension that could serve double duty?

I've never done a spring swap before, so I would want someone to do it right, as opposed to what I would probably end up with. :jester:

Who around the ham does a good job on spring installs?

Last price I got for installing springs was 300 bucks. Seems high.

Opinions on xenon

Alright...starting to look at body peices...hood, scoops, etc.

I kind of like the scoops from xenon as opposed to the louvered quarter window peices I have seen on the road. What do you all think?...

Re: magnaflow cat back exhaust

I'll swear by mine. Not much beats that sound when you first fire the car up in the morning. Not louder, just more gutteral, like you said. No tin can resonance. :metal:

Re: Low RPM tranny chatter....

Sounds more like it's right at the bell housing, which is why I thought it might be the heat shield rattling - hence the addition of the bolts that were missing might have cured it. But no. I can...

Re: Low RPM tranny chatter....

You know, I was thinking about it and you have a good point. Do you think because 2nd is such a short gear, it chatters until the rpm's pick up? This happens mostly in traffic jams. I don't creep...

Re: Low RPM tranny chatter....

No, not really...motor's not lurching or anything. I was just giving examples. It's just low rpm's in low gears. Chatters until about 1500-2000. First or second gear.
