thanks for the info. i talked to someone that did the same engine swap, he said the wiring harness on the cougar is the same as the mustang. he said he used the computer out of the 88 mustang. but...

i am putting a 5.0 ho into a 88 cougar, the non ho computer wont work. can anybody tell me what computer i need? it is a 5.0 aod . some tell me it has to be for the aod trans but that year trans ...
