Unhappy non-rebuildable block?

March 2002 I got a cheep rebuilt 5.8L short block pushed 0.060 (F0AE non-roller block w/ cast pistons)
May 2005 the GT40P incorrect valve springs killed the cam / lifters.
14 Lifters came out no...

I've seen the 95mm Velocity work on 200HP stockers, & 800RWHP 30PSI drag cars.
It's way better than the 90mm Lightning type meters.

Exhaust Header Fix for GT40P and others

The last spark plug on the passanger side (#4) would not clear the header, others have had this issue with Headers.

I bolted the L header on the engine, it fit great! Spark plug access with the GT40P heads looked real good...

Well Ford racing Headers don't pass my quality standards, I got 3 sets all failed my inspection. They can't weld the emissions bung in the correct depth!

Yeah, I screwed up the mount getting the trasnfer yoke off.
I removed it in the vehicle with a 3ft breaker bar.

gee thanks guys.

I ordered a 4R70W from a 2001 Mountianer with only 36,000 miles for $600 shipped.
Ford got the 4R70W updates completed in 1999, so it should handle big power with simple upgrades...

full throttle U-joint failure, driveshaft yoke slamed into the transfercase yoke.
the shock wave broke lots of parts:

entire driveshaft
yoke
transfer case
transmission case

I've done it to a few Ford 4.9L I6's and few Chevy 4.6L V6

If you don't need OBD-II or trans control, the A9L is king for OEM computers
