Wow popped the OUT-put shaft that's brutal there. The first time i broke open me #1 3550 to freshen it up i was impressed and gleeful w/ the size of the main/out-put shaft.

Yea possibly the gears theirselves are extremely strong, and the only real weak link is the in-put shaft itself. W/ the T-5's i've blown 5th(2x) 4th(2x) and 3rd(1x), just pondering if out on the open...

When i ordered new mounts from MustangsUnlimited a few years ago they told me i might like to go w/ the '92 'vert mounts as their stiffer, so all in all i have 'vert motor mounts now.

Oh and to fix the Alt. brace issue i needed a machine shop to cut:
1 an 5/16in L. spacer 3/8i.d., 1/2o.d. use w/ a flat-washer to guard the alum. smog plate from being dmg'd by the spacer sleeve....
