I use the NGK AFX. Its less than 300 bucks. Uses the NGK or Bosch sensor but comes with the cheaper Bosch. I get the NGK's for free and they are supposed to last longer.

CD's stuck in CD Player - Mach 460-6-disc
I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this issue. What's the trick to getting them out and getting the CD player operational?
Any hope or would I be better off looking for a new head unit or...

Re: Does freed horsepower = added horsepower
I am an engineer, you don't have to explain the combustion process to me.
We could argue all day about this.
My point is, a perfect engine without restriction does not exist.
You...

Re: Does freed horsepower = added horsepower
I agree 100%.
But things like pulleys and exhaust are two different things. Pulleys allow gross power that was used to turn the accessories to go out the back end of the crank instead, i.e. NET...

Re: What Brakes?!?
Spongy pedal may be worn seals in the master cylinder. Hard pedal may be a leaking master power booster. If the pedal is hard while idling, listen under the hood for a vacuum leak. Follow craig's...

Re: Drag Radials: Too sloppy in the corners?
We all know they run narrower. But the point is, even a Nitto 315 is oversized for a 9" wheel if you are that worried about handling.
The normal people who put on the 315's are more worried about...

Re: Drag Radials: Too sloppy in the corners?
I have 275 DR"s on an 8" wheel and feel as though there is a little sidewall flex. But of course that due to having an oversized tire for my wheel size.
Regardless, the DR's hook like mad...

Re: Spark Plugs
Platinums are for wear and corrosion. Copper is better for performance.
The iridium is a compromise between the two.
Our Honda Odysseys and Pilots use NGK Iridiums.
For a mustang, use...

Re: Dyno testing gear difference?
It will make a difference if you are looking strictly at torque at the rollers, but the dyno calculates gear ratio using dyno rpm and engine rpm and then uses that to calculate engine output minus...

Right.
Is he still running an FMU?
Just because he has 50's and the MAF is cal'ed, he still has to have some way to increase the injector pulsewidth(software) or increase the fuel pressure(FMU)...

Hmm, I knew you were doing the gen 1, but didn't know there was something else in the works for the gen 2.
Looks like it will be sick.
So did you max out the KB or just get bored with it?

Re: can a stock '99 GT bloack handle this?
Like 96GTS said, with suspension, sticky drag radials, and some RPM, you will launch pretty hard. Any power adder will just make it better.
On a stock GT motor, a procharger P1 will do the trick....

Re: can a stock '99 GT bloack handle this?
Well, even with a lot of boost you don't have to make a lot of power.
Look at me, I am making low power for my boost(13psi). I could make 525rwhp with the right tune and forged internals. The...

Re: can a stock '99 GT bloack handle this?
400-425 at the wheels.
You're not gonna break a GT cast crank at less than 500++++hp.
As said before, the rods and pistons are frail in either.
The 4V is much more efficient as 96GTS said. ...

Re: Redfire 04 Cobra........which wheels?
I love BBS wheels, but the plasma's are not that great looking. Of course, if you get a real bbs wheel it will cost you nearly $1K per wheel.
I also vote for deep dish FR500's.

You can get bucking with lean or rich, same way a backfire can occur due to either.
If your fuel trims are not changing then that is obviously the culprit because there is no feedback to add or...
