Well lets see, he blew up my dad's 86 trying to tune it, my friends truck ran slower on 93 tune than it did on stock tune, and it took 6 weeks to get doug to call him back to retune his truck.

Sears has a bunch of gearwrench sets for like 2 and 8 dollars.
go to sears.com and in the search thing type in 60239 as well as 60214

yes ron has come a long way. he spent 12 hrs tunning my car 4 yrs ago and i had the chip in the glove box for 2 years. now he retuned it and it only took him 1 hour to get it perfect

Blake can get a car very close with out using a chip. as far as doug he is horrible, he no longer tunes at walker dyno. if i were you i would give ron willis a call he is probaly the best in town....

i cant remember if the block was alighned honed...

i cant remember if the block was alighned honed or not. my machine guy did check the cleanrces and they were good is the reason he did not alighn hone it the first time. i dont not run an oil cooler

my block is at the machine shop getting honed. the cylinders looked great just no cross hatching. as far as the building of my engine the clearences were checked twice. the oil pump just went bad....

well i do have a 7 quart pan and i have always used a high volume pump. as for loss of power i dunno the car makes plenty of power. made 550rwhp through a c4. there were no scratches in the cylinder...

Bad Bad news from my 306

Well i probaly should have posted this earlier but i didnt. last weekend went home and pulled my engine out of our 86, took the oil pan off to change oil pump(kinda low oil pressure 14 lbs at idle)...
