Lee is correct on the Tarus fans. We have had 3 different fans and all had a noticable difference between 12V on the "high-speed" wire and 12V on the "low-speed" wire. |
Perhaps the mk8 is the only one that did it that way, I dunno. I know that I tried either + connection on it and the fan was the same speed.
I assume that one wire was 6v, and the other wire was 12v. Or possibly each wire was 6v, making a total of 12v (disclaimer - I don't know jack about dc voltage/electronics, 100% home taught
