Let me show you how we do it in the PROS!

6 hours in the garage.... I'm freaking BEAT. I haven't waxed my car since I got it in may and there were tons of little nicks and dings and scratches and all the little things that you cant really see unless you're up close.

On a black car though, those things jump out so I figured I'd do what I could to take care of them.

I started with a basic hand wash, dried the car and then used Meguiar's speed shine and a Griot's Garage clay bar.

Then I used the griot's Porter Cable orbital buffer along with their 3 polishing compounds. Level 3 for the deep scratches and heavy swirl marks (Only needed in certain places), then down to level 2 for light swirl marks and heavy oxidation. I did the entire car with this then went down to the level 1 compound for minor oxidation and very light swirl marks. Finished off with the Griot's best of show wax and then used the Meguiar's speed shine on the entire car to remove any wax that was left over from the wax removal wipe down along with doing my best to get the wax out of all the cracks and crannies and MAN the badges on the back are a huge PITA to get around... I'm wanting to pull off the volvo letters and mabey put the T5 letters up next to the S70.

Anyways, here are the results. I think my dog was sniffing the passenger side becuase on the outside pic pointed at the driver's side, there are marks on the door where I guess his nose touched it.

My wife's camera sucks... she has mine out of town right now
