My first character was a Night Elf warrior. Got it to about level 20 before I decided I couldn't take it any more (this was December '05 when warriors were probably the WORST class to level because rage generation sucked). Took a couple months off, then started an Undead rogue. I LOVED playing the rogue, even through the rotten times when rogues were the PvP equivalent of red-headed step children. Took a long break before Burning Crusade was released, then came back and leveled a Blood Elf hunter to 70 and raided a little. Stopped again, and now I'm back to work leveling the same hunter. Once the race changes become available, I'm probably converting him to an Orc, though. I started the Blood Elf so I could see the new zones and stuff, but I always sort of regretted it. Orcs have so much better racials, and the Blood Elves look/sound kind of annoying.
