I found out (from an industry source) that the T45 is becoming harder and harder to get parts for...especially the input shaft; they are now only available through Ford. He recommended that you fix the 3650 since it is a superior transmission.
but....
There is a guy who
supposedly has some T45 input shafts still for very reasonable. (800) 323-6211. Ask for Scott. Tell him you heard through the grapevine that he may have a few T45 input shafts and ask him how much.
Update us whether or not it works...
