The equation he posted (quoted above) is linear equation and I have found out that the chips are only linear within each 1000rpm series.
It's a perfect example of why you shouldn't take everything you read on the internet as fact. I wonder how many people blew up their cars by using the wrong RPM value in their homemade nitrous switches.
Although, other than the wrong reistance values, it's a pretty neat little tech article.
