[quote=adrenaline=lifeline;134956]so with the forged bottom end and the 2v heads wat would be max amount of hp i could push it to compared to the 4v 1000hp w tt?[/quote

well it will take more to make a 4.6 2v to get around 1000 hp. but it is definatly possible. but i read an artical where they got a 5.4 navigator and forged the bottom end and ported the heads, along with changing the compression and cams (stage two). anyways they put a single 67 mm turbo on it and it made an easy 1002 to the flywheel with 17 ponds of boost.

but on the other hand i read where they got a 98 4.6 block and the non pi 2v heads and it made around 713 hp with twin 57mm turbos. but they ported the heads and put cams in it. thats not to bad for a 2v

but its all going to be expensive no matter where you go. modular motors are very expensive compared to the traditional pushrod motors.

but if you want to make some good power cheap id say kenne bell it and forge the bottom end, you will definatly make an easy 500 hp. but thats my opinion
