I will check with my co-worker tomorrow he must have a pre 95 3.8 setup. According to him his 3.8 clutch items measured out the same as the 10.5 setups in the fox
Not that it matters. As long as you have the flywheel/clutch kit as a matched set per se, it doesn't matter what the size is. (10.5 or 11) Also, did you confirm the sn95 bell housing necessity? Only thing I can think of that would require this change over the v-6 bellhousing is if the actual diameter of the flywheel changes

You can run a 3.8 t-5 and bell housing with a normal fox flywheel and clutch. That is what I read in all of these posts. No need in a truck clutch or sn95 bell housing

i have checked the mid plate off a fox the 157 toothe its to small ,a 164 toothe midplate from an aod fits fine.with this being said you must use a 16 toothe flywheel unless you want to push start it.cause the starter won't touch the flywheel its an 1/2 inch off.

So there is an actual diameter difference between the 3.8 flywheel and the 5.0 fox flywheel? That is what I was unsure about. If that is confirmed and true then I can see the reasoning behind needing to run a different bellhousing Forwarding this thread to my co-worker. Thanks Swammi

I think he's talking about the block plate.

Correct a 3.8 uses. A 164 toothe flywheel and a 5.0 uses a 157 toothe thanks everyone for the input.

I know. When he said too small, he may have been referring to the thickness, or the hole in the center. That's the only thing that would make sense.
