PWT V6.9 -- Power Plant
Well, it took me two years of saving money and buying parts, but I finally got the 418 long block complete.
January 2005: January 2007: Looks like Project White Trash may be getting a transplant soon.

Are you sure that was '03? I didn't join the old board until 2004, and it seems lik I remember when you bought that motor.

EDIT: I checked back on some old threads and found that it was Jan '05 that I got the motor. (I guess I'm getting forgetful in my old-age. )

It will if I can ever get my stupid headers.
I should have it in with plenty of time to tune it before April. However, it will be making an N/A debut since nitrous would surely put it well beyond the legal limit for a roll bar.

I almost forgot about that. I just went with ceramic-coated MAC 1.75" long-tubes. I know it will likely be a restriction in the upper RPM, but right now I'm really looking for the motor to shine in the lower RPM range. Besides, I really didn't have $1200 to spend on a set of 2" headers right now. Maybe once I get at least my fuel system upgraded and cage installed, then I may work on bettering the exhaust.
